How a small setup and a big vision became Catalyst Pizza Co.
Catalyst Pizza Co. started in a food truck — just a small setup, a big vision, and a serious obsession with making great pizza.
Those early days were all about hustle: dialing in dough, serving slices through a window, learning from every guest, and doing things the hard way so we could do them the right way. The truck gave us our foundation — focus on quality, consistency, and the kind of food that keeps people coming back.
After being displaced by the Paradise, California fires, our food truck vision became more than a business. It became the catalyst fresh start. A chance to rebuild, put roots down, and turn a tough chapter into something meaningful.
As we grew, so did the idea. What began on wheels evolved into Catalyst Pizza Co. — a funky brick-and-mortar spot inspired by classic Italian-American pizzerias, powered by New York and Detroit-style pizza, and fueled by community, music, and arcade nostalgia.
Today, we still carry that food-truck mindset: keep it honest, keep it fun, and never lose sight of why we started. Great pizza, good vibes, and a place where everyone feels welcome.
